When Barry Bevan Funnell and Pamela Funnell established Bevan Funnell Ltd in Hove in 1945, they were working out of a garage selling second hand furniture. As the business gained traction, they began to manufacture their own pieces, designing both reproduction and more modern-inspired furniture.
